Elk Mountain Herbs, founded in 1992 by Karin Guernsey and Caroline Johnson, provides high quality herbal products and educational services to consumers interested in natural health and body care issues. Together, they offer over 35 years of herbalism experience. Karin was formally trained in anthropology and botany and worked as the Ethnobotanist. As a native of Germany, Karin grew up with herbal preparations as the main focus of health care. Caroline has over 20 years experience as an Herbalist, with expertise in the medicinal uses of the plants she has collected and studied on her family's ranch in the Elk Mountain area of Wyoming. The combination of Karin's formal training and Caroline's practical experience gives them a solid understanding of the medicinal applications of the plants from Wyoming.
